What is the limit or optimal number of gmat materials per Multi/Sub-Object group?

    Thanks.

I think 25-30'ish gmats are ok, more of them start hit max performance down quickly.

    Cheers!

Hmmm..I am currently at 151 for my track and FPS are around 180.

Just to be clear, we are talking about the value at the red arrow in the picture below?

That number should have no impact on performance in rF(2).
Keeping it below 30 will make 3ds Max run smoother (because it will load all textures of the Multi/Sub into memory I suppose).

yes, I was talking about 3ds max performance, not rF2. ;)

Ok ,thank you so I assume it should be fine with 16GB memory... I haven't noticed any performance issues with Max as of yet.

Reason I asked is that I read somewhere about a limit...wasn't sure if it was rFactor related.

    Thanks for the replies guys.
