Hi! I've been converting (with the authorization from the original creator ) W14 mod from Assetto Corsa to rF2. I've been able to load the car in the showroom on the old UI with no issues. When I try to load it in track, I've been getting "invalid filename for texture file...". I think the error in the .VEH file. I changed the default livery to the correct "paint " but when I open the VEH on 3dsimed I can clearly see the the texture is still linked to the wrong texture map.
What is the texture error? It could be in the mesh, and not related to the veh at all, veh should really only have the livery texture in it.
This was the error but now it doesn't show anymore after I re mapped it somehow. Now it just CTD View attachment upload_2024-3-7_18-45-35.png View attachment upload_2024-3-7_18-46-37.png View attachment upload_2024-3-7_18-47-41.png
Is it possible that the WCCARBODY material is the one that changes the livery depending on the vehicle selected? If this is the case, check that the texture exists for that car. (Edit) It clearly indicates that it doesn't find the specular texture (the BMP is because it doesn't find a dds. Look in the folder SPECULAR.XXX, if it is not there look for a standard texture, copy it and rename it with that name. If you have created a JSON to assign the shaders, delete it and try without it.
I checked the logs View attachment upload_2024-3-7_20-0-53.png (Edit) It looks like it might because of the shaders. When I don't package the mod with the shaders.mas I can see the car in the showroom
