just recently installed rFactor2 , but missing so many cmp's. Old rFactor was simple install a mod sweet, install a track sweet, install rFactor2 and missing every thing screams in your face, it looks simple, open up mod manager look under the greyed out mod, look at the list of missing cmp's, but then try to find the missing parts, can I say FAARK here, sleepless nights with no result. to many to list but here are some missing cmp's, Eve_Vehicle v1.48 PalmBeach v1.1 Clio_PC v1.0 PutnamPark v0.2 fomulaRenault35s v1.1. Is there a data base that lists where the missing parts live in what mods?

I would start by downloading all of ISI's default content. The base install is very slim. You know, just like rF2 Lite.

There are a lot of mods that depend on some of the stock ISI content (Just like rF1 mods did sometimes). So I would start with downloading ISI's stuff. That will get you most of what you list here. PBIR comes with the 2012 FIA Formula Two mod BTW. One thing that makes for a lot of confusion is ISI was releasing cars and tracks together as rfmods rather than release them individually as rfcmps. They are busting them up now and releasing them all as rfcmps. PBIR hasn't been released as an rfcmp yet but is coming soon. Then you have the other problem and that is that some people have released cars as rfmods that bundle ISI tracks such as PBIR 1.1 which will be considered an old track once the PBIR rfcmp comes out. So you will then be forced to hold on to PBIR 1.1 to accommodate the mod you are questioning plus the new PBIR 1.43 when it comes out. Modders are slowly learning to release everything as rfcmps so we aren't forced to hunt down a bunch of random stuff just to race one car. Personally nothing should be released as a mod. This should be left up to server admins. The admin can bundle what ever they want and when you join the server it will download the mod automatically and then tell you which rfcmps are missing. And hopefully sooner than later we will get auto download of the rfcmps too. :)

rF2's content packaging has a learning curve on the modders side. Once they understand it, the end user will be much better off than in rF1.
