I want to talk about the mirrows in rfactor 2 not the virtual. Its because i use the oculus dk 2 and the mirrows in rfactor 2 are really totaly rong in terms of fov and vertical adjustment. So does nobady drive with dk2 or triple screen and use the real mirrows ? Is there are why to fix it and if not why u make rong mirrows at isi ? :>
Have a look in the control setup, there are ways to tweak the positions of them till your hearts content.
I don't think there is any need for this attitude when someone is asking for help. There are some notes in the player file. Some adjustments may be limited on a per mod basis, limited movement of the mirrors. But combinations using the shift/ctrl/alt keys should get you to a happy medium. I know for a fact that when I have moved to wear I feel I should be sitting in the cockpit (seat adjustment) the mirror needs adjusting, but not always perfect.
...and to make it possible that the adjustment of each single mirror (left, center and right) works, the mod has to be prepared for it. And most of the mods aren't prepared in that way yet, i fear.
Maybe have searched Google for " Moving mirrors in rFactor2 " What do you mean it does not work. TRY BOTH ALT and CTRL keys ON SOME KEYBOARDS only one alt and ctrl may work Be nice if ISI could edit the player file to reflect it.
What they mean when they say it does not work is that, in many cars, it does not work. I assume from your reaction, however, that the individual mirror controls do work for you in every car.
All ISI cars I use the mirrors work ( I do not use all ISI cars ) If you drive a ISI the mirrors do not work I am sure it will be repackaged sooner or later.
To be clear its not about normal mirror adjustment with SHift+seat because this don t help if the mirror is complete of in fov and postion.... its about params or mirror size with the combo of shift/alt/control and seat and yes it works but on the camaro but not on the vette gt 2 so is it from isi or can i activate it to use it with the corvette gt 2 too ?
Is there a way to keep a normal aspect ratio for virtual mirrors? (without changing our regular mirrors) Right now they are stretch (like all the HUD elements) and we get a distorted image compare to regular mirrors. I think it use to be adjustable with Widescreen HUD option but can't find it anywhere with new UI.
For Addon Vehicles, it`s how the Modder have done the mirror part. If the mirror gmt is just one part (for left, center and right mirror) it can`t work...
