When did they change? No more sandpaper! Incredible how much better the experience is with better tire sounds! What prompted change? ISI did you finally accept that sandpaper sound sucked? And if so, then why do 370z and Clio still have sandpaper. I've been driving Historix rf1 again recently and, as good as it is, the tire sounds are between horrendous (awful grating sounds) and simply non-immersive (sandpaper like rf2 Clio). I finally found some GREAT tire sounds to replace them with and WOW so awesome. The sounds I have are so good that I honestly believe it is not only more convincing and immersive but that it also makes me perceive that ffb and tire model is better because the skidding noise. Good thing I'm not driving much online and can just change the sounds which I've already done with Clio.
