Material Editor

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that the Material editor is a very powerful tool for manipulating materials and lets you manage changes in real time, this simplifies the work of modders a lot and helps a lot to save time. The only weak point in my opinion (or maybe I don't know how to do it) is that sometimes a lot of time is lost looking for the name of the material, but it is possible that in such a powerful software there isn't a system to quickly find the material?

 

control F brings up the search box, type in name of material

 

I think Andrea means, that is is not possible to find out which materials belongs to which object. 3dsimed does this job for me

This might come across as a stupid question so I’m sorry if it does but I’ve searched the internet for where I can find this Material Editor and any documentation on how to use it but can’t find anything. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
