After installing the new update i started the game and noticed that i was missing 2 tracks for the ISR servers... downloaded both tracks and wanted to install them, and then this happened... took both of them out of the package folder and i still can't manage my mods

If you're comfortable with editing the registry, you can try deleting the entire reg key: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Image Space Incorporated\rFactor2 Mod Manager" then restart the mod mgr.

If you wanted the mod manager EXE from B198 you could've asked, it's only a small file. :)

On a more serious note I've been playing around checking and unchecking options but I can't get MM to misbehave, hope you're on the right track.

Make sure when deleting, you do delete the Documents/rFactor2/installed dir. Joe is on this now though also... :)

I had the same problem as the thread starter and was also able to fix it by deleting the registry key. I was able to reproduce the problem by going to "View" and deselecting "Show Details". This prompts for a restart and after that the tool won't come back alive. Seems to be a clear bug of some sort.

Thanks for the fix , works fine now .Was planing to look in the registry tonight , glad didn't need poke around myself , quick place to screw things up .
Same as Stonec said here as well , View - uncheck show details stops it working every time .

Sorry that the inclusion of a smiley face and my communication made that much difference to you. Thank you for the lesson.
