Make Historic F3's Great Again!

Nice grid for Longford. Not real quick in the BT20 but was happy with 5th. Prob threw 4th away with one bad mistake a few laps out but overall a pretty clean race for me.
BT20's again this week and we're off to Hockenheim '66.

they might be tempting on surface with all that shine and glitter, but when you'll be reaching their limit, you'll discover the physics to be wooden at best (even worse than 'Legends' mod, imo). i'm yet to come across a Chief Wiggum mod with high fidelity physics...
 
Made one mistake at the first which cost me a podium today but still finished better than my grid position so decent race.
Quick warning guys, this weeks track is from a pack (workshop) and it's big. 6.7gb. F1 1986 Historic Edition track pack. 1986 Brands Hatch GP is where we are at this week in our trusty old F3's.

I have F1_1986_Tracks 1.1
and F1_BrandsHatch_Historic_Edition 3.1 installed
 
The "F1-1986" tracks have been updated to version 3.1.

The good news on my end is that I could just upload the one individual track instead of the whole series as one big file... Right Paul? lol

The server now has a new vMOD posted that has the new track.

Just bad timing... lol

Sorry all, our servers have gone down for some reason. (They have been getting attacked pretty hard). Sent an email to our provider and waiting to hear back. Will keep you posted.
 
Ok, we have a backup server up. Huge thanks to Bumble for jumping in and helping us out. Unfortunately no live page til ours is back up.

So I've just heard from our provider and we've been "ransomwared". :mad: New SSD and re-install necessary so will be relying on the backup server for a while.
 
Well that was fun. Thankfully did plenty of laps during the week and found that the front left was prone to wear (mostly the last turn) so took it a bit easy for 3/4 of the race. Slowly started to reel WhiteLightning in and caught up with a lap to go. his tyres looked worse for wear so managed to get past after he made a mistake and held on to the end.
Not sure where we're at next week yet. Will keep you posted.
