I dont know if this has been the same in rF1. But as soon as windows opens a window rF2 will loose focus, and in this early stage it will then crash (like the alt-tab thingy) I do not have this with most other games i play, they will keep focus even if some sort of updater is launching. This particular crash happened when the Bonjour service wanted to update. But i assume it will do this for other auto updates services as well. Of course i fixed it now by disabling the thing but i though it might worth reporting.
This happened once during an online race (one lap to go, second place, dammit!), Comodo brought up something trivial and the game lost focus and crashed...
