Originally built by Milestone for the Superbike 2001 game, released in 2000. Yup, 15 years ago. This was then converted to F1 2002 by Simbin when they were still a modding team, as part of their GTR2002 mod. After that it found it's way in every ISI based title since, I guess.

OK, the 2015-Pres map looks like a small modification of 2009-2015, not a return to either of the two earliest layouts. I actually like the oldest and modern layouts of this track. I'd be happy with a proper rF2-standards version of any era!
GPL tracks are not accurate. VLM did their Rouen map off GPL and continue to use it. ( you would have to be dense not to be able to tell ) Anyways when I asked why they never thank Papy for base I got banned. lmao ! Look at that pCars version of Belgium tell me that was not basically a GPL map ? Malmedy is identical to GPL original and so wrong. GPL Spa v2 and rF2 are light years from anything else.
