Hi i had noticed recently that crew chief stopped working upon investigation i found i had no plugins showing in game, i checked plugins are in right directory and in the json file they are enabled. I then loaded game using the exe in the bin64 folder and the plugins appeared. Why is there a difference in behavior ? A follow on question is there a way to set the data path to another location if the rfactor2 exe in bin64 is used currently it seems to default to the steam install?
are you running the latest version? Most plugins(with a few exceptions like Crew Chief) won't work after about v.1109
The bin64 folder exe is the one that is supposed to load, also when you start the game via Steam. So if you have found some other way to start the game, it's probably a wrong shortcut.
