I learn the hard way, that you cannot use anything else that "gras###" as the material name with "Blended Grass Infields" shader. I tired to create track edge (grass/asphalt transition) with old "grsx###" material name, as I wanted some dust cloud getting up in air when driving on the track edge. BGI shader didn't work with it. Only thing I got was mapping channel 2 (in my case, dirt layer) was shown in game, but other textures on that material was hidden. It took some time to figure out what was going on... Cheers!
Ooo thanks!! So if i want the old "grsxxxx" i must create in TDF file a material name "grassdust" for example?
Actually I couldn't make it work, even if I defined grsx### material (and some other variations) in TDF file... I haven't test this entirely yet, but it looks like BGI works only with "gras###" material name (build 101). Cheers!
