SOLVED Left eye flickers in VR with Porsche GT3 Cup car

Would also appreciate this being bumped up the list please.

This isn't an annoying bug with workarounds. In VR it is game breaking and affects purchased content that is unuseable. Appreciate that there's always priorities, but i can't help think that if this affected single and triple screens, it would have been sorted weeks ago.

VR users seem to be less and less a priority.

I get that you have your priority list, but marking the thread as KNOWN and leaving your customers in the dark for months like this is not ok. At least be transparent of what's going on and an ETA on the fix.

As posted in the other thread, ive noticed this only seems to happen in both the vanwall and porka cup when running with same a.i, kick them all the issue goes.

Some more infos for the devs. It also happens in multi class sessions eg GTE + VANWALL. Driving a GTE car with no VANWALL in the grid is good (no flicker). Driving a GTE car with VANWALLs in the grid then it will also flicker when driving a GTE car. As soon as you have the "flicker" cars (Porsche GT3 Cup, Vanwall, Porsche 718 GT4 as far I know) in the grid, it will flicker.

If you do a practise session with no Vanwall AI or no ai of any kind then the flickering stops.
As soon as you introduce Vanwall AI to a session, the flickering in the left lens starts up again usually at the start of lap three of a practise session, dependent on track and in a race it’s happening immediately after the green flag drops.
I agree that Bahrain is the worst affected of all the tracks for the Vanwall left eye flickering. Bahrain GP flickering begins on lap three of a practise session.
With AI turned off, at least we have the option to now hot lap it flicker free.
I’m using a Rift S via Steam VR.

Another here with the issue.
Every car I picked does it for me. First lap is OK, as soon as I cross the finish line, it starts to flicker.
Prototypes, old enduro cars... does not matter.

Hey Coutie, thanks for the fix.
Been using the porsche gt cup car in many tracks with no issues.
Also feeling that vr performance also improve but that can be placebo...
I'll post back if anything else happened.

Great job
