While updating from 101 to 107, it told me that it can't overwrite the "Launch rFactor.exe". Well, retry as usual didn't work, I decided to ignore (I should have aborted...). The updater of course now says that rF2 is up to date, so I can't install the update again. But I suppose the launcher itself is still the old version now? The launcher says 0.636 in the titlebar.
This means the rF2 launcher didn't close properly, and was still open when you updated. You do still have the latest version of the launcher exe though. In future, if this happens, you can close the launcher in the task manager.
