    Lamborghini Murciélago R-SV GT1 V12

My passion led me to the realm of the iconic Lamborghini Murciélago together with Valentin (Valjouss). Amidst a hectic schedule of very nice freelance 3D work combined with brewing in shifts, I devoted precious moments focusing on the interior and exterior for one of my cherished GT1 projects.

A good year ago, I reached out to my dedicated patrons, seeking their input on the cars they most desired. Among the myriad of choices, the Lamborghini emerged as the true beacon of my automotive affection. As you might know the 550 Maranello, and a 993 GT2 EVO '98 are in almost finished modeling stage as well.
Both my GT4 projects AMR and BMW are on hold (70% done).
Fuji has gotten serious updates as well, just not enough time to share more behind the scenes yet.

As I navigate through time, I am driven by the collective excitement of those who eagerly await the release of this iconic Lamborghini Murciélago masterpiece.

For me, my vision is propelling this project towards a triumphant finale—a testament to the dedication that breathes life into every pixel of this digital automotive Bull. My Cayman was nice, but I want to show rF2 as best as possible for this one.

    Request:
We would be thrilled to incorporate the ideal physics for this car.
Those who contribute to making physics will receive credits and the distinction of being part of this Golden Bull project. All from scratch goes a very long way!

In reality, the car tends to lock up easily at the front, maintaining a balance between stickiness and power-hungry on the rear. I believe it's an enjoyable driving experience at Monza, requiring precise pedal control and input management.

If you have more dashboard references in HQ please drop the images here or on my discord please (see my signature WIP links)
There is a digital metric on the steering of RPM but I did not have enough time for references of the dashboard in idle/driving and other fancy stuff. As it's a race car we have some margin for more details eventually at dashboard. Based on the age of car I think some old red 8888 LED displays and some retro weathered dash would do well.

I will add a badge on the rollcage with the credits of the makers, car is made for VR

Keep going, always wanted to drive this car! Will you use your new tire models on this one as well?

This week was a busy one but I found time to add the front fender arch tweaking, rear wing supports.

Fred just released an update for the Cayman GT4, live on Steam... and has a list of WIP projects on his sign off that are all free stuff that he does for us all...
This thread should only have reactions to his work on the Murci GT1 so...
If you are more interested in the BMW GT4 then you should ask him on the corresponding thread :-D
But the best thing you could do - really - would be to become a Patreon, a Discord member and support his work there even more.

It's planned after the Lambo. BUT (read below) cannot tell it all :D ...

Hey everyone, I prefer not to go off-topic. But as I write now, let's give some inside in one go as I don't have time to post each topic or create extra forum titles as not all is included.

I wanted to share some updates and exciting news about my latest projects:
    1. Special Project for Honda Indonesia: A couple of years ago, I created a car for Honda Indonesia, funded by HM Engineering. The City Hatchback I developed will soon be available for free on Steam as a cup edition with fictional liveries. Thanks to the permissions from both parties, I'm excited to share this with the community as it was originally made for a big local car dealer. I tweaked the car to have cup behavior and good front cambers, it has a very nice feeling now and I expect bumper races in online events.

    2. Cayman V3 Highlights: As @vava74 mentioned, the Cayman V3 update is here. This update involved a lot of effort to enhance the car on multiple levels. It's incredible to see our community grow with over 21K subscribers and a 97% positive rating—let's aim for 99%! This project is a community effort, so please give it a fair rating if you enjoy it. I also make it a point to support other creators similarly and help when I can.

Tire-wise and physics almost took us a year while some feedback from a real pilot was very welcomed and interesting. 30 candidates later, going back to a classic tire and tweak some lines I found the needle in the forest, especially on the Cayman. We also found bugs in rF2 doing reverse engineering, a bit love and thought issues was needed to successfully point the car to what is supposed to be 98% accurate to real life if we compared motec data in game and the one only I had access to under strict NDA. It was a win doing this for both me and the real-life driver as he now can practice more and showed me serious progress which is insane if we think about it.
    Understanding the Process
Projects like the GT4s and older Cayman in AMS2 take time due to pre-existing commitments and logical progression. I create rF2 cars out of passion and for creative practice, aiming for professional results with minimal vertices while being transparent and even risking my ass. I can tell you that I have spoken to big people who knew about some of my projects. The BMW might become an issue as the company has some cars officially in rF2. I keep the ball going for now but will soon ask MSG's their opinion.

    Sounds and Freelance Work
Cosmo's sounds for the BMW GT4 were stunning and I payed for them to finish my Le Mans deadline meanwhile. Freelance income is nice, but I enjoy modding for fun and creativity despite the high software costs. DLC development involves lengthy processes and significant costs before seeing any return, necessitating careful time management. Therefore I am very aware and willing to avoid issues or financial losses for a party.

    Future plans
My focus is the Lambo GT1, BMW GT4, 993 GT2, 550 Maranello GT1 and a few new ones (old car and one recent) as there is no overlap or plans for these in both game titles. I signed a very big official 3rd party project meanwhile and invested in the scanning of that project. Also I have Fuji almost done but wonder if this would become an issue with MSG's LMU. Motorland Aragon is also in early progress and I'm pushing directly to them to get something officially going. Profit/non profit, I don't care as long as we get something on paper.

After all the above I mainly will do projects that are proven to me that car * never would be released in games A and B. As I have NDA's running I can openly ask this info and avoid trouble. But to complete all what I mentioned, we need time and a lot efforts first.

Why I not always answer on some comments
Despite criticism if there are any, I stay motivated and ignore negative comments. Not that it happened a lot as I am focusing mainly on my work and support from friends. If I get positive criticism I see this as an option usually to become better, that's what smart and positive people do. It's due to this that my eye for details became way sharper, or why I see colors differently knowing how light should interact and so on.

Some projects may be abandoned for good reasons, you can see that as negative but I learned from them. I continue to deliver great alternatives or can twist things around to get them all legal from here. Let's say that we will be focused on classic cars and legal projects from now on (aside of the ones we have). If some people don't get that it's their issue, not mine.

In the end I learn from the best devs in the world every day and I basically deliver DLC level for free. Biggest problem is that we use laserscan on official work while modding is done by eye only (so offsets can happen). Also it's very nice that Renato gave me room for this. Can you even imagine how a great person he is as most bosses would just do the opposite? 10 years from now I might slowly fade out of modding, but it's still a long way and I really enjoy what I do, that is what matters.

    Upcoming Murciélago Project
Stay tuned for the Murciélago, which promises to be epic. If I can successfully implement the physics as planned, we can expect a thrilling experience with easy lockups and a drift-hungry rear.

Follow our community to stay up to date with all the projects.
I'm online each day in the FA Discord (Frederick and April's projects).

Some stuff is only shared with Patreons on that server in a private room.
Many projects are active and parallel going forward, this year many projects will see the finish as I keep on par with my timing all the time.

Thank you all for your support and enthusiasm!
