hi guys and galls, as i am new to rfactor 2, and loving it so far. i am setting up my buttons and keybindings and what i was wondering is there somewhere that i can download a full list of all keys and what they do, it is just so i can sit here and study what everything is for without having to keep scrolling through the game settings. i want to be able to do this once and set everything up properly. thank you in advance for any help.

I would make one, but i'm away from my computer right now (out of town). I wish I had a photographic memory lol. Anyway, you could go to the control settings and write everything down on a sheet yourself. Here are some that I found:

Insert - Switches between cockpit, roof, and nose cameras on the vehicle
Home - Switches between other onboard cameras
Page Up - Switches to swingman camera/ Then use number pad # to swing
Page Down - Switches to trackside cameras so you can view the race from a spectator's point of view
1 - Vote Yes in multiplayer
2 - Get ping value to server
3 - Toggle your mirrors on and off
4 - Toggle the HUD (Heads Up Display) statistics display
5 - Toggle the HUD tachometer display
    6 - Toggle the HUD multi-purpose display
    7 - Toggle TV overlays
0 - Vote No in multiplayer
Enter - Cycles Information displayed on your dash or HUD
    Framerates - Shift+f
Tab - Toggles the driver names above the cars
I - AI TAKES CONTROL OF CAR.
    W - HOTSWAPPING
    R - REPLAY
    Y - RESTARTS RACE
    P - PAUSE GAME
    H - HEADLIGHTS
    T - CHAT- MULTIPLAYER
    B - Look behind
    V - Look left
    N - Look right
    R - INSTANT REPLAY

    F1 - STEERING HELP
    F2 - STEERING LOCK
    F3 - BRAKE HELP
    F4 - STABILITY
    F5 - SPIN RECOVERY
    F6 - INVULNERABILITY
    F7 - AUTO SHIFT
    F8 - TRACTION CONTROL
    F9 - ANTILOCK BRAKES
    F10 - AUTO PIT
    F11 - AUTO CLUTCH
    F12 - SCREEN SNAPSHOT

Since you're new to rF2, then what is useful to you now likely won't be useful to you in the future. In other words, don't expect to do this once and be done.

So, to get a list, take screenshots of the settings menus.

If it helps, here are the things I've mapped buttons for on my wheel and buttonbox:
    Horn
    Lights
    Starter
    Wiper
    Pit Limiter
    HUD Select
HUD On/Off (I usually drive with it off)
    Brake Bias forward & rearward
    Rear Flap (DRS)
    Pit Request
    Alternate Exit
    Live/Delay replay toggle
    Pause Game
    Vote No
    Vote Yes
    Quick Chat "Thanks!"
    Quick Chat "Sorry!"
    Quick Chat "Pitting/Slowing"

If you race Historics they do not have pit limiters or obviously DRS and the majority have no headlights.

Handy to make a separate profile and get use of any left-over wheel buttons.

I don't know if it helps but, in the Controller.JSON File (in folder ..\UserData\player) all Controls are listed.
    Looks like this:

    "Control - Bias Forward":[
    0,
    89
    ],
    "Control - Bias Rearward":[
    0,
    89
    ],
    "Control - Brake":[
    1,
    15
    ],
    "Control - Braking Help":[
    0,
    61
    ],

thankyou to all who have replied, it's like number 3 key, it says toggle mirrors on and off, it does not tell you that you toggle mirrors on and off and then there is 1 virtual mirror or 3 virtual mirrors or no virtual mirrors. these are all the little nuances that i need to find out and learn. i think the best way would just go through all the menus and take a photo with my mobile phone, saves just spending ages writing down, then i can just print them all out. great start for me guys thanks

Tip for when you work out what buttons do.................

    Go in cockpit
Make sure mirrors are set how you want.
Now disable the mapping for mirrors, they will never change again, not even by accident. ........... ;)

You can do the same for any key you like.
    example:
Set all aids off then unmap all aids keys, that gives you F1 to F12 free to use for say advanced camera controls ( 14 of which are not even mapped by default ) ;)
