    2. Fail to start game (App already running) (FYI ! -The application is NOT running)

    3. Have done the "Check integrity cache bla bla bla"

    4. Rebooted PC

    5. Uninstalled rF2

    6. Reinstalled rF2

Maybe you have to remove your Credentials ?

What got me is if you have not drove it since October 3rd your review gets a warning it may not properly reflect some bs or other.

So what I drove every day for 4 years and some peanut drove it for a week is better qualified ?

That could lead some people to think since October 3rd the build has changed the sim in some way........how exactly ?

    Doesn't make any sense - Sorry !

Now when I started I am greeted with a popup saying:
    "
    "Downloading Workshop Items"
The rFactor 2 Launcher is currently waiting for your Steam Client to download all the cars and tracks you are subscribed to. When the downloads have been completed, the launcher will start automatically.
Cars and tracks in rFactor 2 are part of the Steam Workshop. When you subscribe to workshop items they will be automatically downloaded and installed into the simulation.

    1 Item remaining

    "

I havent subscribe to any cars or tracks ????

You had non steam rF2 yes ?

It had credentials in documents ?

Did the uninstall remove it ?

You said it would not start at all ?

I think it could make perfect sense........BUT I never said it would or that was the definitive answer !

I had moved all my "packages" to the packages folder and when I removed those rF2 started !

    Problem Solved !

Hope I can help others with the same problem :)

Ah yes the old move the packages one............

    lol ;)

It is same thing if you swap hardrives and OSes ( which you can do legit, I have 2 rF2 installed on same Machine ID )

But it can lead to some drama, I have had non package locations it could not delete a couple times.

There is one file you can move I think resets all that, don't quote me.
