I found today's update interesting. I've been driving the Oreca 07, and the car seems to have improved. I've run hundreds of laps at Le Mans_17 and my best was 3:41 (yes, I know that's slow). Tonight on the updated Oreca, I ran a 3:39. For the first time since I've started driving the car, I had hot tires, which improved grip immensely. In some corners, I was able to move up a gear. I like the lengthening of the upper gears on long tracks like Le Mans. I wanted to see if there was any framerate improvement. I took me the longest time to realize that they've changed the display. The average/min/max info used to show up on the right side of the screen. I couldn't find it. Finally, I noticed that they moved it to the left side and cleaned up that information a lot. As a matter of fact, some of it that used to not work is working now. Last thing, the lock to horizon thing. This is something that never bothered me in the past. And, frankly, I can't tell the difference today even with it set to High. I guess I'm just not one of those weak-gutted types whose stomachs go all wooogly in VR.
