Not that I know of. And it wouldn´t make much sense, because instead you could just take another car to which the other .HDV is assigned to.
But what holds you back to add a whole .hdv in the upgrade?

    Laziness :)
But also it's a port from Automobilista, don't want to edit the stuff from rF2, just wanted to use the hdv as it is. I mean I even removed the files from the original mod and added my hdv, engine, etc (changed names, class names too in Teams), repacked everything but I can't keep both mods installed for some reason, the original makes mine disappear from the menu >_<"

Did you tried to change the Category in .VEH ? I remember that I had a similar problem once, I think other category solved it (but not sure anymore).

Yep, changed category and class, renamed the mas, main, sounds, etc (tested with original names too just changing the "folder name" when packing so they won't go to same fodler as the original car), but didn't help, as soon as original car is installed "my version" does not appear in the menu

Try different veh file names and inside the veh different descriptions.

It's been too long since I check, but doesn't the Howston provide an example?

Now you made me go look...
It selects different engine & tire files, but not HDVs, so no, not an example in that regard.

check your search paths at the top of the gen files, they should be changed to point to your car mod location.

Worth a look anyway as it could be why your car is disappearing, if they are correct already, ignore me;)
