    Hi guys and girls,

once a year the village I'm living in turns into a paddock for an entire racing weekend. Racing teams park their trailers around my house and even on my lawn.
And of course I made a short video about the race.

    Enjoy!

Those curbs are really dangerous. It is only a matter of time that a car gets launched like this, but than while going up (or comming down) hits another car, possible where the driver is..... Off course discussions atm are about those trucks/tractors (or how you would call it), which I can understand, but I think these curbs are potentially way more dangerous then those trucks/tractors. The curbs are there every single lap, and they are there without a yellow flag to warn you to slow you down, so the changes of someone getting launched is way bigger, then hitting a truck/tractor, which is mostly behind the barrier, and when it is in front drivers are warned to slow down, so smaller change of an accident. (Not saying that that shouldn't be adressed, because it should, just saying people shouldn't forget about other stuff)

EDIT :: and there are multiple examples of cars getting launched allready. Off course on spa, as in the video above, it happened with IRL at the Indy GP, and it also caused the only exciting-to-see action so far in the Formula E when Prost drove Heidfeld onto the curbs.....

    This is a special "event".
The car went backwards over the curbs.
The car spun out before that.
That is a very unusal case!
    So no worrys about curbs....

    agreed ...... oh wait, no, I don't agree .....

two examples why I think they are dangerous. Off course it doesn't happen very often, but if it happens ..... like I said, I think it is only a matter of time that a car hits something in a way that causes injury or maybe worse, that probably would not happen without those curbs.
