When I drive the DL18, some of the liveries have a terrible brake screaching sound. Is it from an update? It wasnt there last week.... J.
make sure your version of the IR18 is the latest available. That squeal was fixed prior to the Q3 update. With new sound updates, all the updated cars like the IR18 will have lots of new sounds, including that brake noise. But the volume was set incorrectly. Drive the free Caterham Academy and you will clearly hear the same brake sound but at a correct level. V1.67 is the current version of the Indycar. The subscribe/unsubscribe function is broken at Steam. You can delete the Dallara folder inside the Installed/vehicles folder and that should allow rF2 to resend the files.(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Installed\Vehicles\DallaraIR18_2020) Also ensure you are on the latest build of rF2, v1130, chosen by selecting the NONE option in the beta tab in steam before you launch rF2.
