In Game Name

When signing up for the online account I filled out the First and Last name fields AND the Nickname field. The ingame name uses the real name fields and not the nickname. How do I change my online name to what I was using in rFactor 1 ??

 

Yup I am with you on this one. I used my real name for League racing and for normal public servers my Nickname. Would like to do the same in RF2

Definitely dig real names more. Adds to the accountability of how you perform in a server.

 

I agree Beatnik, however some choose to use a nick because of other (less reputable) people that can do damage to your name if they feel they have been cheated or even just because you beat them in a race. Not all sim racers are nice people. I have come across some real douchebags in my many years of online sim racing.
