First, before I dive head deep into this game, my interest is downloading a mod car to have in the game and race with other racers with different cars. For instance, I want to have a sleeper, like a camaro or maybe a custom turbo supra and race along side people with Porsches and some crazy f1 cars. My point is, can I race whatever car I want or do you have to be in a similar class, I don't want to have to race with a car that is alike all the other cars. It would be cool if there were several surpas on a track and all tuned differently. Can I really download any car I want? What if I want a Taurus SHO modded to the max, to race along side a bunch or imports..is it possible? Or does it have to be what every one else has only. Is there drag race modes civic versus civic??
Yes/no, it depends on how the mod is set up, and how dirty you want to get your hands. If you build it, you'll have what you want. There is no drag racing mode, or a civic drag mod. Doesn't mean someone won't build a drag strip eventually.
