Hydrofoil Generation

And I once thought Stefano's comment about making a sailing simulator next was just a joke he was making. :D

Good for him, breaking new ground in a new direction. There's certainly a lot of new tech to explore in the area of sailing and other water toys utilizing hydrofoils and e-drives.

I had a lot of fun with an America's cup sim probably 20 years ago, spent a lot of time raising and lowering sails with a joystick(circling motions to simulate the hand cranked winches)

Stefano was live streaming just awhile ago (Steam Live). I saw that he also likes guitars!

A plus Is that you don´t need specific outboard hardware to play (race) the game.

Yes, he's a talented musician as well.

I imagine an old bicycle crank with a friction brake would make a great sailing controller and provide exercise too. :)

Thanks for the info. I kind of Imagined he Is Into music (guitar) by the collection of amps and guitars he has on his back wall. I was Into It too, not so much now but planning to get back to It again, It soothes the soul.

At my age, I´ll stick with my Xbox controller :D

Never sailed on a hydrofoil but did sail a lot on a Hobie Cat when I was a teen In Florida, great fun when you tilt It and sail on one python while hanging on the other.
