I want to add more traction on the RSR f1 mod. whenever i break and turn the car spins out anyone know how to fix. Thanks
In the difficulty menu you could try turning on some abs and traction control. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
Try what Adrian said first. One other thing you should do is make sure in control settings your breaks and throttle are set up correctly. Meaning make sure the curves aren't messed up. One thing I tried long ago was to give my throttle a strong progressive curve so that when I pressed down on the peddle it would take a lot of pressure to get to 100% throttle. That kind of stuff might help you with giving too much power out of a corner. At the end it just comes down to practice and learning how the cars behave though.
thanks guys i already tried adrian's suggestion I have traction on full and ABS but it still isnt even controllable
Like i will break into the corner ok when i turn into the apex (going quite slowly) the car will spin out. i barely give the car gas and it spins
Hi, Did you try adding rear wing...maybe if you lower the ride height and stiffen the spring rate a bit. kind regards, Sean
The odds are you aren't being gentle enough with the controls. Stabbing the accelerator or brake, or jagged wheel movements, will all cause a racing car to spin. Try a slower approach to the corner, and ease through it, gently applying accelerator past the apex. This approach is usually faster than going in hot and overdriving the car.
and the number one thing to do for more traction is... run a session with 18 AI for ten minutes at double speed by pressing ctrl X. This will give the track a lot of rubber. After that save the realroad for next time. Getting the tracks all rubber-ed in makes the cars behave as they should and it also gives them the correct amount of traction.
Since when in racing has there ever been a "correct amount of traction"...how should the cars behave? XD
