Hey guys, How do I make rFactor 2 look better? I want to make some introductory videos about rFactor 2 but right now the interface still looks pretty bad. I just downloaded the new UI Mod that looks great so I'm curious what are the other mods to make the game better? Graphics wise and other stuff. Must have stuff. Thank You
I'm not aware of any "external mods" like ENB or such that make RF2 look better. Mostly good looking screens or videos need good looking content, i.e. not all ISI or third party mods are visually equal. What kind of racing/car do you want to make the vid about?
I will make a video about Simulators in general but also looking to do update videos about rFactor 2 like new cars and stuff.
Time of day is one of the important things to make it look good. Early morning og late afternoon looks much better that in the middle of the day. And quality tracks like Sebring, Silverstone, Croft. (Some tracks are very very poor texturewise.)
In the end its all up to what specs you have. If you can run rf2 on full settings then you will get a nice looking vídeo. Obvious avoid some non-ISI stuff. Not all but some.
Don't forget to press Alt+M in rFactor 2 while driving and using 16x Anisotropic Filtering. This only works while driving though, not when starting the client and going straight to replay mode. You need to start a race session, press race, press Alt+M and then you can go back into the main menu and start a replay. You need to do this after every client restart though. And if you have a Nvidia card, you might be interested in telling them to fix their drivers so we won't neet to press Alt+M every time and to improve visual quality in tons of toher sim titles as well: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...ke-Nvidia-notice-this-issue!-They-can-fix-it! is there a list of keys/key combinations and what they do in game? until this thread id never heard of ALT+M
