How do I know when there's races on the servers?

Forgive me if this has been adressed before.

I love the game, and I love entering the various open servers to race people.
But what I don't love is that I never know where in the practice/qualifying/race-cycle the servers are.
Maybe I just have bad luck, but more often than not do I enter a server at which a race has just started. And if there's a lot of people, it takes forever for the game to load everyone - for which I have to wait in order to leave and hunt for another server. I know that the races are short, but it's annoying to me nevertheless.
Couldn't it be an idea to implement, in a future update, that we're able to see in the lobby if there's a race going on?
That way we could race other servers while waiting for the one we wanted to enter.

Again, forgive me if I've overlooked something, or if you guys know something I don't.

Thank you for that - obviously, I didn't see it.
That page might come in handy.
But that overview can't be complete -the most crowded servers are not on there.
