In RF1 and many other games I could just start my own online game, give it a name, a description, set different rules, etc. Never dealt with dedicated server stuff, just talking about the regular online part, and create/host a game. I don't see that anywhere in the online part of RF2.
Server download root, server max file size, creating vmods, etc. etc... I'm not running a server, I just want to quickly and randomly host some online play whenever I feel like. Like in RFactor 1 and other games you just click on "create" or "host", type the name of the room, choose a track to race on (or level), choose what cars (or weapons or whatever is relevant to the game) people are allowed to use, rules, race/game settings, etc. Click "ok" and bam you're ready to rock. Nothing technical about it, all done in-game from the multiplayer section, takes 2 seconds. Doesn't anyone know what I'm talking about?
