    For future reference:

Once you get yourself re-activated, go to C:\users\(your username)\appdata\roaming then save the .rFactor file to a USB stick or something. It contains your license and if you ever have to format again, you just place in correct location and you're activated.

    Technical Support:
If you require technical assistance email support@rfactor.net.

For purchase problems or refunds for rFactor/rFactor 2, please email purchase@rfactor.net.

I would think one of those should work. It would be handy to have the email receipt number in any correspondence.

    Enjoy!

edit: the contact link at the top of the webpage is where I found this

There is no activation data, key, etc.

Download, install, login on launcher, try to run single player, it'll activate. Simple as that.

Tim, This is the whole story...I installed a SSD for a performance boost, and installed a new version of Win 7 64 on the SSD.. re-installed rfactor 2 and photoshop on the new drive ( I am a pro photographer) when I attempt to run rfactor 2 from the launcher I get a small box that says "you are running the trial version of rfactor 2
and gives me 3 choices; Launch Demo...Purchase...Activate... I am right now going to try to launch Demo..it says demo content not instslled....???

edit; I just tried and ran my other win 7 OS..and rfactor 2 runs fine on my standard HD.. Could it be that I need to purchase a 2nd. rfactor 2 for my new OS.
I thought I could put it on 2 computers...I think rfactor 2 considers my 2nd. OS as a second computer ????

No, you just need to activate rF2 again. You have 5 activations or something, after that you can even get more if necessary by mailing them.

rfactor2 is not recognizing my new OS at all, the message I get when clicking on the helmet is..This account does not have an rFactor2 license. I have emailed for help but have heard nothing.
I can still start my computer with my old OS and rFactor2 works fine, but what was the point of my upgrading to a SSD? Oh yes it boots like a rocket, but I can't use it for the only game I play...

Did you tried a reactivation of rF2, after Login?

//Edit: as your old installation is available, you could try to copy & paste your License Files from there:

    old HDD
    new HDD
    3 Files...

I have tried that as well but no go. If I only had my login info..note to self (save this stuff on a from now on) "I'm going to try and load the demo and see how it goes"

Demo doesn't work as full game afaik. You don't need another license, just uninstall everything and install lite build again, login, activate.
