    Hi Guys.
I've been trying to copy an existing track, editing the sponsor .dds files, the loading screen and track thumbs etc.
I've kept the filenames of the .dds the same.

Now I want to install as a new track in RF2.
I've done it a few times but the track doesn't show in RF2 (I have all cars and track selected)

Do I rename all the .mas files
Do I need to rename stuff in the .scn file?
What do I need to change in the .gdb file?

I'm not looking to resuse people track accept to test and learn before getting deeper into track modding. (Extreme beginner)

    Many thanks in advance!!!

The absolute top line of the gdb file has to match with the name of the .scn.

You cannot just modify the files. For content integrity reasons you need to repack the track into a new component (rfcmp) and install it with mod manager or with mas2.exe when creating it.

There are tutorials on how to this.

I have just realised this, any changes need to repack the whole project and change version number.
I know how to pack / repack, it was the filenaming that messed me up, but this has helped hugely, thank you
