The rfmod has a *.rfm file. Open that file and edit the line: Max Opponents = 29 to Max Opponents = [Whatever number you want to have]
First editing, then compressing. Do you want to create a "virtual Mod" to use it for a dedicated server? Then THIS thread can help you. Or do you need the basics? Try this: rF2 packaging tutorial
From what I have found you can't add more then 25 types of vehicles to a mod. Which means setting up a photo shoot with all cars is impossible. Work around please.
Did you ever try it by yourself and it didn't work? The opener here just wanted to have more as the default max. of 30 cars available. And that definately works.
I realize it is about grid numbers. Yeah I have a few 25 car mods for online, like for Nords and Longford or say Silverstone if you like that anyone can testday what they wish. In long sessions you can swap cars as many times as you like and retain all best laptimes is cool. It won't cop more then 25 though I have not tried the last 2 builds. It is not a big deal, main reason I would like to run more is for a photo shoot... ie : online one model per driver, arrange them, etc. P.S. You can't run just any 25 cars, certain combos will CTD. Corvettes, GT2, GTR and G4.......... I expect when all packages are finalized you will. SPOT the RC p
I finally did some digging and figured out what was causing this, at least with the corvette GT2 and the howston G4. Inside the car's main MAS there's a wiper.ANM file, in both the G4 and the GT2, named identically, but they're very different files. So however the server works it loads all mas's into one spot, and when it goes to look for the wiper.anm for the howston it grabs the one for the corvette since they're named identically, but that wiper file doesn't have the same properties and animation properties so it crashes. Most other mods name the wiper file uniquely, for example wiper_A, URD_wiper, etc, so there's no conflict, and they all work perfectly together. However if you load any vehicles with the generically named wiper.ANM all together, it'll crash because of the naming conflict. I "fixed" it by renaming the wiper and correcting any files in the MAS files pointing to it on the howston, and the crashes went away, but I think ISI should issue an official fix for that and properly uniquely name the assets for each mod if you look in the main MAS for the other cars causing CTD in this combo I can guarantee you'll find a generically named wiper.ANM. for instance I just looked in the ISI nissan gtr and yup, it's got another generically named wiper.ANM, but it differs in filesize from the others, so it causes a conflict. They can all be named the same across vehicle MAS files if they are indeed an identical file, but if they're different they need to be named differently!
Maybe you try it again... Because i couldn't imagine that the grid numbers would restrict the numbers of possible cars, i've made a short test. I tried 35 different cars. The only problem was, that my PC is too weak, i had a dia-show with it.
You sure there is 35 different cars there ? edit: ah yes mods I see. I probably should have said Online. ( like the photoshoot would need to be online ) In dedicated menu the vehicle filter you can't select more then 25 different makes I try this build then
