    Hey,

i have a HTPC where i host a rF2 server. Im control this server over RDP.

Ports are open, i can join the server.

But as soon as i join and go on the track (as soon as i joined) it say "Waiting for server". The RDP Connection is lost and all other connections are gone (e.g. steam) ON my PC ?!?!? As soon as i disconnect ingame the RDP Connections is back again and steam chat reconnects (beside i dont have rF2 over steam and i dont want to)

    Someone an idea?
I can play on other servers but i want to race with a friend on "my" server.

I will just recap to be sure I understand

You host a Rf2 server on a media server on your LAN, you are connecting to that rf2server from another computer still on LAN. As soon as you join the server you loose your connection to the internet (WAN)

are you loosing internet on your gaming pc, on your server or on both ?
If it is both, do you know if you can access internet with another device (like a phone over Wifi)

When you are on the server, can people join the server ?

on your gaming PC, when you are attempting to join the server, do you have to wait like 30seconds before the JOIN button light up ?

On the Gaming PC i loose connection. the server is accessible by my friend.
No i can join instant, no 30sec. wait time. As i said, all ports are free to join without problem. It looks like a LAN/Internet Problem but hard to describe. On our LAN Party it worked but now for hosting internet and playing on this server it kicks/kills me out.

What happens if you join via the internet not LAN? As far as I know you can't mix LAN and WAN. My server sits next to my PC I join via internet.

    Try this

    Join via the +connect command

I would try with your LAN ip address first, and after or WAN adress.

The fact that you don't have to wait before joining tell me you are joining via you WAN, and maybe something create a conflit and you loose your internet.

I am not sure of the command exactly, I would need to check it when I am home, but it is something like +Connect "localIP" if you don'T have password

I think it is that :

    +connect="127.0.0.1:64297" +dedpass="serverpassword"
