For some reason after the last 2 online races I did there is no replay of the main event. There are replays of every practice stint, qualy, warmup, and hot laps but no race. How can that happen? Also, wouldn't it be nice to be asked if the replay should be saved and/or renamed as soon as it is created at the end of the stint? Maybe I'll put that in the suggestion box if it hasn't already been suggested. Other wise I end up with tons of replays of crap not worth saving and having very non specific names.
I remember that I saw (in one of the threads in wish section) a suggestion that the game should ask if you want to save the session replay or not. I think this is a good idea so +1. As for you problem: is your replay fidelity high enough?
