Hi guys, I was wondering if there was an adjustment in an ini file or something that I can tone down the headshaking at higher speeds? In the classic F1 at Spa it shakes so hard I can barely concentrate...

    Thanks!

I tried doing this in the plr. file and it didn't work. Not sure why as it worked with rF1. I'd like to be able to lessen the headshake.

Cockpit Vibration Mult1="1.00000" // Primary vibration multiplier affects eyepoint position (base magnitude is in VEH or cockpit file)
Cockpit Vibration Freq1="31.00000" // Primary rate of vibration affects eyepoint position (higher framerates allow higher rates)
Cockpit Vibration Mult2="1.00000" // Secondary vibration multiplier affects eyepoint orientation (base magnitude is in VEH or cockpit file)
Cockpit Vibration Freq2="38.00000" // Secondary rate of vibration affects eyepoint orientation

I just tried this, reducing these Multipliers in the PLR seems to work here.

There's an adjustment under settings in the control screen called Head Movement which can be adjusted.

Is that what you guys are talking about ?

No, The head-movement in the options screen is for bumps and such. The Violent shaking that occurs at top speed is what those settings posted above adjust... You can make them less. (0.25 instead of 1.0) or if your INSANE... Make them higher..

All 0's is too sterile.. Feels like nothing is going on. Unless you have a full motion rig that can physically shake you around to simulate "Holy crap this is fast" I wouldn't do 0's.

I'll agree that its a personal preference thing, but I've got it set to 0 as well. I may try lower settings but the default is too much, IMO.

I enjoy the headshaking in high speed. Gives me an immersive feeling and keeps me focused..since its hard do keep an eye on the road.
