I have mentioned it elsewhere but I will now report it as a bug.

Sometimes windows upon boot will 're-order' it's HDD's.
This is a known windows 'bug/quirk',windows will still work perfectly fine.
When this happens rF2 thinks I have changed my 'setup/hardware'.
This only happens when you have more than 1 HDD of course.

Nothing has changed, hardware wise or other,it's just windows reporting HDD0 is now HDD1 and HDD1 is now HDD0.
More often than not a reboot will have windows re-order them back into their original orders.

But while the 'order' is different rF2 will not work, deleting the .rfactor folder and 're-activating' will of course get things up and running.
Then of course upon next reboot the order may have changed back to normal and rF2 won't work again.
Saving the different .rfactor folders is a way to cope with the problem but not really a solution.

This 'bug' does not present itself very often but it is there.
Next time it happens to me again I will get screenies..............
