    Just tried my updated rf2 today 2014-06-08.

    Wow, no more graphic stuttering from the ATI card.
    Played in 3D as well, the frame rate is so much better now.
    (no more stuttering, high settings as well)

    rFactor2 and the AMD drivers have just met,
    and solved many of the issues that have plagued ATI users.
    Just spent 2 hours driving around in 3D.

    Did rf2 get it right, or did AMD finally catch up?

    There was one other negligible fact;
    - My HD6990 received a new heat sink.

    PS: lime rock park - system froze this track

    System; Win7 64bit, ATI v14.4

    SSD operating system
    Sata2 mirrored game drives
    HD6990 with Arctic Cooling 6990 on it.

    65 inch plasma

    I think it was a bit of both. The biggest improvement (for me) was the 14.4 drivers, AMD released just over a month ago. But I have been seeing a steady improvement, albeit baby steps, for quite some time now.

    Why only 1024X768?
