That's a serious problem! I ran the benchmark here (MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G) and it did make the display driver crash (4101 error in Windows events). Had the same error a little under 2 hours in an rF2 endurance race, so I would be very happy if this will get fixed. But reaching 3,5 GB of VRAM in rF2 seems a bit far-fetched, anyone got an idea what kind of VRAM usage you would be looking at with about 35 cars on track?
Very serious for other games...probably not so bad for RF2 users... unless you are using triples. Still! it's not very good for those who've purchased it already. Hopefully a solution will be coming soon, since this will be my next card.
