Hey all, Trying to figure some things out, checking to see what the general time difference is between the Endurance Pack GTEs and the newest GT3s that were just released. Trying to plan out a series and want to see how accurate the difference is between the classes in game vs IRL. Anyone have any info?
I think it's typically 2-3 seconds per lap quicker in the GTE's than the GT3's, however this will depend on track. I've run them together at Imola and the perf difference was very noticeable.
That sounds accurate, I just wanted to make sure. If anyone else has different track examples that'd be awesome. But that mostly confirms what I needed.
Sebring 12hr should be the most accurate track and there are all sorts of times available from last year. Here are some results from 2017 https://www.sportscarillustrated.com/News_2017/C/seb_4.PDF fwiw, at Sebring, known as a high speed circuit, the GTE pole was 4 seconds faster than GTD which is the Imsa equivalent of GT3
I did a run at Bathurst the other night and the GTEs (GTLM) were four seconds quicker than the GT3s (GTD) Could imagine the gap to be even bigger at Le Mans or Monza.
