GT3 models quality...

I bought McLaren just it was released and surprised me about 3D quality of this car model. I was thinking that all GT3 cars would have the same level and atencion of details, but with de pack released I realized that no. AMG for exemple, is very poor detailed of outher sims is for the same car, even mods... why?

Why the steering wheel looks too big? Dashboard too simple?

Looks ok to me compared to the real one

Only issue is the leds not adjusted correctly.
Also the lack of extra functions for them to tell when ABS/TC are working but I think none of the sims are doing it atm

Compared to the video above, steering wheel size suits pretty much. GT and touring cars often have a backwards shifted seat position and therefor a longer steering column.
Display lacks a bit of info yes, there seems to be no fuel indicator, or "laps left with actual fuel". Compared to PCars ver., also engine mapping, TC /ABS setting, Oil pressure. It would also be nice if some of the buttons (ignition, fuel pump) would lighten up, at the middle console of the 650S for example.
While workload seems to high currently, maybe at some point Studio-397 is able to overhaul the cockpit/display technology.
Thinkable are different display modes to switch through, depending on car additional values (delta time, TC/ABS, OIL P, E mapping, Diff, hybrid stuff...). Some cars like the Corvette C7 GTE for example, have LED bars, which showing the amount of slip (left/right).

Even if I have a custom skinpack installed, I believe those are the original racing gloves of the ISI Marussia 2012.
Much progress has been done since, as you can see.

Cheers.

Well, it is because of too high FOV of Gopro cam... but do you think that painel textures is ok too? I don't like to complain, I love that sim, I have it by 5 years, but that pack isn't cheap, I think I have the right to ask for the best of crew can do. Beyond I just a little desapointed for Radical was included in this pack too, I was expect for only "real" GT3 cars... Anyway, I wish the best for the team and they keep working hard to make it grow up.

I have no issues with the quality of S397's GT3 mods, the only request I would make (after playing PC2) are moveable parts in the cars as a result of vibrations (like the wipers and the window/cage nets/belts), really adds to sense of speed when those things vibrate and move.

Here is the Callaway cockpit.
In my view, and I may be wrong, as always, those are the parts that are not up to the level of the Mercedes or Mc Laren models.
In yellow I have marked the parts I consider bad looking.
Zip ties, are polygonal, if you have to reduce poly count, then abstain of putting them completely (they hold nothing), they are black but in some places (the lower one marked) they project a clearer shadow on the white roll bar tubes!
The part around the digital indicators looks bad.
The straps don't look good at all, if you can't make them look better, abstain to draw them.
There is also a circular ventilation conduct, on this picture behind the right hand of the driver, that doesn't look good at all when in view.
And yes, once more, the racing gloves are the icing on the cake.

Cheers.
