Left side on the image is split, then name in competition system and then name in rF2.
Our rules are quit clear on naming, we need for you to use your real name, we dont want people hidding behind nicknames. I know its not nicknames, but please make sure this is correct. I dont mind editing it from our end - but you actually entered the name in the comp system.

Now comp system is closed and nothing can be done there, so for now i can fix it - but we need to know if we are doing it/or you will do it.

Hello Everyone,

@Jimmi Allison, i asked Christopher to change forum and competition name, and it has been done, at least the forum name. Got message from Chris last friday confirming the changes.

If its possible to run with Nuno Miguel Abreu all season i would like.

I missed your message sorry, sure i will add a bit of time (midnight CEST), but please use these carefully. Last resort is to simply not allow anyone to submit IRR/Protests. I see 42 already which is exceptional high considering its sprint races.

IRR:
Now use the actual server stamp, if it is not included the incident will be ignored.

Overall remark.
Whats funny is that most people has praised how good S3 was, yet some people called it destruction.... sometimes you need to look if you attract incidents, if you do...perhaps change your approach?

Like i have said, its not do-able right now to change name in competition system. I will manually change your name in the standings then. Just for future, please make sure you use the same name in rF2 so much easier to manage.
 
Hi Jimmi,

Got a question for the guys in Split4 who should have been in lower split so didn't submit a livery.
Are you making a new mod again for the next race or not?
If so, when should we get a upload link or something like that?

I will be yes, I have just not had the chance to get settled yet - if it is before R2 I can't say. But that is my aim. Let me quickly start a submission link.
I have just created a link here BUT this is just for new liveries and those drivers that does not have one yet. Any other submissions will be ignored, sorry we can't keep updating these cars every round.

In this page say only GT3 Pack.

It would be much better to just use one channel to organize the championship, have several places where information about the championship is displayed, send files to dropbox, receive emails, discord, use the forum for other things certainly does not help everything work correctly.

I'm sure you give 100%, but in my opinion they don't give you the right tools to lead a championship of the level that this championship is supposed to have.

I've uploaded the files as i think the naming is the best suited. Hopefully it's allright.
Please check the number of both cars, cause the numbers don't fit well. But didn't want to do a smaller number so it does fit well.

I still don't follow entirely.
But if people are posting 10 IRR i bet (and i have a few years of experience in this) that that driver attracts incidents.
And yes this is without having looked at the incidents, i am not saying you - it was a GENERAL post.

Yes a few drivers thought that was the only place to read, which led to some misunderstandings, I have updated the page.

Again i have replied on that and we NEED to manage it like this
1. Submission of files, i have done this many times and I need to to be on dropbox, because i do not wish to download from various file sharing networks which leads to many mistakes
2. Email is REQUIRED for me to LIMIT the access to the splits to those exact drivers. Users are NOT using their names here just yet, but i am trying my best to get them here.
3. Discord is NOT used for this, true i chat there a few times a day - but nothing official is being mentioned there for now.
4. Forum is the ONLY place to get access to important updates, questions, answers, exceptions to rules. Which YES is on the frontpage and will remain there also after our competition system starts (until further notice of course).

It is not super complicated that you get the briefing and password on email and submit liveries on dropbox is it really that complicated for you, i mean we also stream on twitch, facebook and youtube - another 3 channels to add to the mix.

Again this is to get you to have some racing, you can do it offline if you want - however you need to understand that this is how we need to do things this season. Once the comp hits and a new season comes it should be much easier through the UI etc. But top tiers will always be handled differently if you ask me right now.

I understand your point of view, you use the tools that facilitate your work and you do a great job with the tools you have, but you also understand my point of view, I expected that a competition carried out by a video game developer would have some tool where it was everything centralized and everything was much easier.

I do not want to extend this discussion any longer, I hope that in the next championships we will work in this sense and many people will come and you can sell DLCs for the championships and all this is profitable for you, I am going to buy the Ferrari to be able to run the next race :).

I do understand and if only we could do everything from within the game it would be super easy, but i doubt that will be something we can do anytime soon tbh. But like I said once competition system is there a lot of things will be easier.
But at least now I updated the page, which should have had a more generic sound to it in the first place, so at least that is a first step :)
 
@Jimmi Allison Thanks for updating the main page, and thanks for understand us.
You do your job well, but please don't take the suggestions as attacks or criticism. We only try to give our point of view to improve the championship. Hopefully the in-game system will be available soon (maybe next season?), and it will make your job easier too.
 
And it goes both way... when Jimmi say something, that make total sense, as a general note... try not to misunderstanding what is said.

Plus so far, from what I saw, the season 2 isn't too bad. At least I enjoyed watching the first round.

Thanks for the reply and resolving the issue. I'll go through everything and do my IRR's (if I need to report anything) until midnight.
