Last night I joined a server running the URD mod at Sebring. There were around half a dozen of us doing practice and into the race. MP positional updates v smooth and everything worked sweetly. In the race itself many drivers dropped out and after a couple of laps was left to myself and another driver in a Viper I think it was. It was an hour long race but utterly fantastic. We were both pretty evenly matched with comparable car performances (great work Ales). There were differences though in that I was faster in S3 and the end of S1 into S2 in my Darche. He was faster in the middle bit and the start of S1. I cannot remember his name but we were trading laps with just a few tenths between us. When one of us had an off we waited to ensure the competition on track resumed. Such a great race and a great example of what rF2 delivers best. I was sweating like a pig afterwards. Needed the shower.
IF your rF2 saves replays, find his name in such (load it in singleplayer main menu) Other than that... two-horse races sounds a bit... lacking, but it can still be fine racing!
Was it the "Pitlanes URD GT (64)" server by any chance? If it was and your schedule allows, feel free to join us for the final 2 rounds of our season! (we replaced Euro Ring with Sebring) http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/19795-Pitlanes-URD-GT-World-Series-Registration-open No need to register to race but the password for the server is shared on the pitlanes.com forums on Fridays before the race. Of course if it wasn't my server, ignore me haha
Yes, I have been trying that but whenever I try to connect is says "MOD download failed". Have you set up port forwarding correctly?
