What is the reason the GPU is working on full power in the game menu where as when driving on track at about half its power? Doesn't it make sense to be the other way around? I'm actually happy that it's this way around because what matters the most is the performance while driving but just wondering what's behind it, every time I am on the track the GPU is cool and quiet, as soon as I hit escape it just goes crazy, fans revving up and I have an RTX 3090 FE where the VRAM temp goes up to 85 C at that point, the core stays at about 50 C. As you can see from the images this is in multiplayer with only myself on the server but that doesn't really matter it's the same thing in any game mode and number of cars.
