    I have a few questions.

    1) When I look at the online race list I see all of these abbreviations for car sets that people are racing, I don't even know what they stand for. So how do I know what to download?

    2) Is there a way to block servers your not interested in seeing??

    3) Does no one race the 1960s F1 cars online??? The spark F1 or the Eve F1?? Seems like we could have a great GPL type of racing again.

Answer to #3 is no but some do race bt20 which is technically 60s F1. Amazing no one races Spark or Eve.

F3 Eve is spot on training car.

If you can't do decent baseline times in her you got no right driving a F1.

    lol ;)

Last 3 seasons we did F3s then F2s and then F1s.
    Our current season is Brabhams.

DurgeDriven's server "F3 Rookies" runs constantly F3s, while Brian Birtwell's "F3 Fanatics" runs slightly modified (faster) F3s.

And yes, you can have a bit of GPL, actually tons better than, the F1s are amazing cars to drive and RF2's vintage tracks, Spa, Monza, 10k and Monaco are the best done ever, it will take years before anybody surpasses them.
Many people including me wish there were more of this kind (Longford Circuit shows the way), I think/hope eventually they will come.

You really can't find historic content like this anywhere. Such high quality, miles above everything else.

I would love to see such a league. For some reason I'm just stuck in the 60's F1. I think such a league has been attempted before but could never reach critical mass. Shame...

I'd like to see different combos than the usual same three tracks. Why not...

Zandvoort, Nords, Interlagos, Tiger Moth, Sepang, Hockenheim, Texas World Speedway, Essington, Orchard Lake, Newerburg, etc.

...at least until more historic tracks are released?

You must be talking about F3-Rookies no other room I know does it ?

My room is for TRAINING ROOKIES

It is the same proposition as F2 and F1

If they can't lap F3 at Spa, Monaco and Monza within 107% ( :p lool ) they do not belong on other tracks.

I think all who start RF2 should spend time in these three tracks, and Durge's place is a classic to do this :)

No, not referring to any specific servers but whenever I see one it is always one of these three tracks.

It's because those are the only period tracks from ISI and as far as I've seen outside of Longford, the only ones worth having.

Does the same apply to F2 and F3?

And I have to say Nikos that I was SO glad to find the SR4L league running these great cars. I'm thinking though that at some point we'll venture away from the vintage F1s, though I'm not sure. It's a great bunch of guys and I'm coming around to accepting that at some time I'll have to expand my horizons regarding car era and type.

Funny thing is, is that as hooked as I am on the 60's F1 cars it really doesn't bother me to race them on most modern tracks. So I'm not a super realism fanatic. (Truth be known... I use paddle shifters!) "Burn him!! Burn him!!"

"How do you know he is a witch?"

"He shifts with paddles and a clutch button on his wheel!"
