Have been trying to join a few different servers.. I do the get mod thing, then when it's done dloading I get a msg "couldn't install mod" because I am missing things. the one thing I am missing more than anything is Palm beach 1.1. I can't find it anywhere... I am guessing it is part of some series... but what? I have installed all the ISI mods... I do have the track in my game, but evidently it isn't 1.1. Can someone help a brother out?
Yup .. if I look in my packages folder I see it, but when I go to manage mods from the UI ... I don't see it.
go into manage mods and under options uncheck "show mods only" Then find PBIR and if it says "v1.0" it should give you the option to update.
strange. Go into single player and into component manager. Then find PBIR and see if you can update there.
pb 1.1 is in there Dave, in F2 ISI mod and u dont need to install it seperately, just install F2 mod.
No matter what I do the F2 ISI won't show up in manage mods. I can see it in my package folder with all the other mods, but nothing in UI or in game. In other words... I can't install it.
Obviously doesn't help you short term, but fairly soon we should have download links for individual components (cars, tracks, etc).
he just downloaded it. Maybe is something related to the core being installed in diff location? Ive heard some problems if you try access manageMods from there, mods dont show.
Yes... Nobody should be doing anything with the core, at all. Launcher should be the throughput for any launching, and data dir should be the location of all other files except plugins I think.
I get the same every time i try and join a server and do the "Get Mod" thing in the lobby, it starts perfect and the bar flys across the screen installing, but when its finished it reports it has failed due to numerous tracks missing, my solution in the end was to stop trying...
Delete (or move) the file 'fia formula two championship 2012_10.mft' from your 'Manifests' folder and try again.
