Purchased rFactor2 Last weekend and it seemed to be running ok with my SimXperience IV until today. Thismorning I downloaded and installed the new 296.10 nVidia Drivers for my GTX590 which I run 3 screens with. rFactor2 will freeze a few seconds after loading the track. Ive tried differnet circuits and mods. If I disable the Simxperience software the game seems to run ok again. Any ideas would be appreciated. Im running Windows 7 Professional / 64Bit (iRacing runs fine with the new drivers)
You have updated the game to build 69?? If you already have the build 69, you also can try the 301.24 beta drivers http://www.nvidia.es/object/win7-winvista-64bit-301.24-beta-driver-es.html
I bought version 69. Ive narrowed it down to being an issue with the Sim Commander 3 Software for the Motion simulator. It stops working even before the GUI of RF2 is loaded. Ive rolled back video drivers, run at minimum resolutions etc etc. I even went to a restore point of 7 days ago where it was working and no change :-(
