Game failing to start

Head Melted With RF2 Once again It Refuses to Start Since Friday:(
I renamed the UserData folder & Tried to Restart & then the same and tried a Reinstall :mad:
I have tried a Full Reset:eek:
Will it do this with every New Up Date ??:rolleyes:
Should I enroll in Computer Studies ?? ;)

MB : ASUS Intel 1151 Socket Z370 Chipset Maximus X Hero D4 ATX
CPU : Intel i5-8600K CPU @ 3.60GHz
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
RAM : 31.93 GB
 
If you have renamed or deleted your Userdata folder you should verify the game files before starting the game.
You have to right click rFactor 2 in your Steam Library, the select Properties / Local Files.
Then select Verify Integrity of Game Files and let it do it's check and it will download files if needed.
Then you can start rF2.

It was my previous update experience:
I was using new UI, and there were contents / Core update about 2 weeks ago. rF2 exited consistently after the white screen. I renamed player.json, config.ini, checking steam files integrity. All did not work.

Finally I switched back to old UI and launched rF2, it updated the contents. I then switched to new UI and it launched successfully. Please try if it applies to your case.
 
Cheers to lagg , ADSTA, lamck & JimmyT .. Good Call did as lamck suggested and it works :) I won't try the VR for awhile but I'm guessing ( Fingers Crossed ) that shouldn't change :rolleyes: :D anyways as always when the Best Sim fails the Best Sim Community steps up everytime ;) Cheers to yea all Happy Racing to Yea All
