I have been playing rf2 on single screen for years without problems but now I have upgraded to a Reverb G2 setup and racing in VR does not seem to work for me. Sometimes I have managed to get error messages that indicates memory limits being reached. However my GPU is a 12 GB 6700 XT so that seems strange to me. I have been able to make 1 track/car combination work however. The Formula Two at Loch Drummond (short layout). Most other combos causes the game to freeze/crash at 100% load screen while the Nordschleife causes freeze/crash at 50% loading. Has anyone experienced similar or perhaps got some ideas for troubleshooting?
I have your card, but I don't have VR. I would suggest going first to the bare minimum graphic options. Hopefully other VR users will chime in, There are several VR operating systems like Steam VR, OpenVR. Perhaps one of those can be a solution.
