    Hi all,

I have an issue with my G27. When I rotate the wheel 90 degrees, it is only showing 20% in Game Controllers > Properties > Steering wheel movement.
In sim, whatever sim it is, when holding it at 90 degrees it does not show 90 in game.
It seems to be some form of calibration issue.
I have uninstalled multiple times with a restart
I have done a clean boot
I have cleared down the registry of all Logitech values.

Does anyone have any advice on what it could be?

    Thanks,
    Nick

It sure sounds like the encoder... :/
    How old is the wheel?
When driving, does the ffb feel too strong/weak?
Does it rotate(correctly or not) the full 900? If so, does the game see it, or stop in the middle somwhere?
Have you checked the Global Device Settings in the Logitech Profiler/ Wingman Event Monitor?

One last thing; Ive read that the G27 was designed using usb 2.0 ports, and they can be tempermental with usb 3.0.
I was having an issue with the rotation going "half rate"(90 degrees in sim for every 180 on the wheel) while driving on track and I had to map "reset ffb" to my wheel. Turns out my usb hub is all 3.0 ports, so I plugged the wheel into the back of the PC in a 2.0 port and it works fine now.

Hope you figure it out quickly, and that it isnt your encoder. :)
    Cheers,
    rocket

    This could be possible.

I have installed the wheel on a totally separate machine. Clean install and does the same thing.
I have also tried an old wheel and that also does the same thing?

FFB does feel a bit weak
    It rotates to 900 in-game - yes.
Not sure about Event Monitor. Where am I looking for this one?

It is in 2.0 port now.

    Cheers!

The Profiler/Event Monitor is the same program.
When the window is open, it says Logitech Profiler.
The exe file is here for me: "C:\Program Files\Logitech\Gaming Software\LWEMon.exe"
LWEMon being Logitech Wingman Event Monitor.
From here, hit "Options" > "Global Device Settings"

    Make it look like this:
Some use 107% for the Overall Force Strength to improve the feel at the center.
Also try this (for rFactor of course ;)) if all else fails: "Profiler" settings directly above "Device" settings in "Options" tab

If your profiler looks like this already, Im afraid it is most likely the encoder.
Hoping the best for you. :)
