Don't know about anyone else, but in some races I have good luck with the safety car and on other occasions it completely ruins the race. AI Drivers will go full tilt for a bit, meaning the sim orders you to catch up and then slam on the brakes when you get close the gap; catching you out. Then the sim punishes you for overtaking under the safety car. Has this happened to anyone else? I did a race on my YouTube channel where the cars were well behaved (V8 Supercars at Ipswich) but in a race at Donnington (ISI Formula Renault 3.5) and Suzuka (same cars) they did the speed up-slam brakes method. Thanks for any help you can provide.
