    Hi,
I`m just painting some Skins for the Renault Megane. Now i stuck on one Problem...

... i can`t get the painted grid (Front) ingame. It seems, it becomes overwritten ingame. Any idea? I named the file M2009_<carnumber>GRID.dds and saved it as DXT5 + Alpha and with all Mipmaps. But ingame the original Grid (black) is used. Windshields are working.

There are shading layers above, can't recall if I adjusted or deleted them.

//Edit: i removed the shader, where the grid appears, but nothing has changed. The grid keeps black as it was before...

Just had a look at the PSD, it seems I coloured the shadows on three or four layers. I'm sure there's a better way but I'm a PS noob.

If so, could you pls send me one of your PSD`s, where the grid is painted?

Hm...how must i rename the Material in the GMT Files, that i could use it like EXTRA7, EXTRA8 etc?

I have no glue, how this works with the Material Names...

The materials need to have the name "WCEXTRA0" for example. Important is the WC in front of the name.
Then you should be able to use custom textures with a skin ;)

Of course this would work with the rims too, e.g. "WCRIMS" or "WCEXTRA3" or such :)
